Pork and Sauerkraut in a crock pot

Here is the recipe for the pork and sauerkraut:
This was incredibly good and suprisingly easy!

1 3-4lb pork roast, salted and peppered
1 cup hard cider (I like woodchuck)
1 cup chicken stock
6 cloves of garlic smashed
1 red onion sliced

Mix everything together in the crock pot and let it go for 8 hours on the low setting. Every so often, during the last 4 hours, baste the pork with the juices.

Thank you for posting this. I think it's going to be a great winter dish...and with all of the cold weather around the nation right now, you are providing a great service with this recipe! The sauerkraut alone ought to raise the temperature in the house. =)
